Sunday ~ Sunday

The past few days have been challenging weatherwise but even in the challenge, how beautiful God has made our surroundings. Beautiful white snow drifts, nature is aglow by His powerful hand. Peace and beauty surround us with His glory. Thank you God for your Son, He is our salvation and we are truly blessed.

Whole Foods

Silly weather. Kathryn keeps talking about Whole Foods and I finally had a day I could get to it today but the silly weather stopped that little trip. I found a great recipe on their site and need to get there to get the ingredients to make it for "food night" next week. May have to fall back and re-group. I may talk to the "powers that be" and see if the weather looks like it is still going to be goofy next week on Wednesday, perhaps we could move "food night" to the next week. I don't really trust that the "long range" forecast will be correct.

Blessings and prayers

I pray today for patience and love toward my fellow man. My heart is good and I want my life to exemplify all of the gifts God has granted me. Please dear God, forgive my shortcomings and ease my mind and spirit. Thank you God for all you do and are.

Wednesday is a great day ~ aren't they all?!

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I became a new creation in Christ when I became a Christian. But sometimes, I just feel like the same old me. Please help me to become more conformed to the image of Christ today. Take away whatever needs to be taken away to reveal the beauty of You that is in my heart. Help me to be spiritually beautiful today and always.

Monday ~ Monday!

Yesterday's Church service was phenomenal. What a blessing being back at my Church "home". I am so thankful that God got my attention after such a long break. I knew full well where I should be and now ~ well, I'm so elated. I want to be the very best Christian I can be.

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."

I love rainy days

It is a lovely rainy day and today I am grateful for that as I have lots of reading to do and it's a perfect day for reading and learning. Thank you God.

Friday ~ again

Today I am grateful for my friends and thrilled that one of them is getting ready to marry her dear love.

Today I pray that I may be a good and true servant to our God. Let those who look at me see Christ in my actions, thoughts and deeds. ~ Amen

Happy "hump" day!

Last evening I learned who my "Mentor" and "Prayer Warrior" are for the next 6 months. I am truly blessed. I am so thankful for Wednesdays and the opportunity to serve God and Christ. Let my life be an example of Christianity, let me grow in my learning and love.

The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Amen. ( Zephaniah 3:17 )

What a wonderful life!

This week-end was so wonderful. The first meeting with the "Poland Mission Trip" group. All are wonderful and as excited as me. I am so blessed ~ Thank You God!!

Today I am once agqain grateful that it is Sunday, the day of worship and fellowship with my fellow Christian btothers and sisters. Thank you God for this special day.

~ I am grateful today that it is the day I can serve the Lord at Church. I missed last week and it seems like a very long time even though it's only been two weeks since I was there at Church. I need to be with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I hold their hearts in mine. Thank you God.

Wonderful year so far

What a wonderful evening was had by our Sunday School class last evening.

First day of the New Year ~ Welcome 2010

Today I welcome the New Year. 2009 is history and we start anew with 2010. I am grateful that opportunities present themselves for me to grow in my knowledge of Christ and that I can now recognize them. I am truly blessed.
This evening is the New Year's party for Adult V, my "life group" or Sunday School group as I still like to call it. I am looking forward to seeing my dear friends again after what seems like a long separation (a week and a half) from my Church family. Weather and holidays have created a break in the time I have spent with them of late and I am missing that fellowship.
